This is Yuling (孙玉灵).
I am a professor at
Fudan University, and also an academic affiliate at
University of Michigan.
Before that, I was an associate professor at
East China Normal University.
I received my Ph.D. under the supervision of
Prof. Ning Gu from
CISL Lab at
Fudan University.
My research lies in the interaction of
Human-computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Supported Collaborative Work(CSCW),
and Social Computing. My current work primarily focuses on issues of
technology(AI)-mediated aging, healthcare, education, city governance, and rural revitalization.
I adopt socio-technical approaches to understand and design human-centered tools, technologies, and systems
to promote individual and social health and well-being. My overarching goal is
computing technologies can be better designed to unlock the potential of individuals, support collaborations,
promote individual and social well-being, and create a positive societal impact.
I am looking for talented and highly motivated Master/PhD students, as well as undergraduates and visiting interns/scholars,
who are interested in various research projects on social computing, computer-supported collaborative work, human-computer interaction
for aging, healthcare, and education to join my research group at Fudan University, starting in Fall 2026.
